Role Objective(s):

To deliver best in class transactional performance – with focus on compliance, data control and profitability.

These roles are being create to service key categories within the organization; and in principle will be able to remain client agnostic – ensuring we have support for colleagues at all times.

Working within a regional structure and within a defined purchasing strategy these roles will work closely with central client and category teams – while delivering against local purchasing strategy.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Buying Performance
o Ensure that all transactions effective from point of data entry to delivery
o Work within defined regional buying strategy
o Fully utilise available buying tools such as – PDQ/Curtis Fitch/Mtivity
o Ensure high performance linked to compliance and commercials.

• Revenue and Profitability
o Achieve revenue and margin targets through strategic planning and effective team management.
o Optimize purchasing strategies to ensure cost efficiency.
o Drive growth SAC and savings performance

• Commercial model controls
o Understand the various client commercial models
o Ensure that the buying best practice is delivered to maximise compliance to and buying effectiveness within each client commercial model

• Leadership and Team Management
o Show entrepreneurial focus – while working within a wider team environment.

• Stakeholder Relations
o Build trust with internal stakeholders (Client Account Managers) to encourage the integration of the centralized functions such as Incentives and PSP
o Maintain strong relationships with client contacts and meet all expected and agreed SLA’s
o Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through tailored solutions and outstanding service delivery. bra
o Work closely with Regional Operations Director to ensure support is available to deliver against target and strategic goals are being achieved.

Qualifications and Knowledge:
• Proven experience in leadership roles with clearly defined understanding of operational complexity
• Strong knowledge of process and operational procedure
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and associated SRM Qualifications and Knowledge:
• Expertise in process and workflow
• Fluent in English (mandatory); a second language is highly desirable.
• Experience working with multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to work with complex and incomplete data sets
